The Bowen Seagulls will score a big win if the LNP is elected on October 26.

The LNP has committed to fund upgrades to Denison Park to improve training and game facilities.

LNP Member for Burdekin Dale Last said the $250,000 in upgrades will help the local rugby league club tackle their recent growth.

“The Bowen Seagulls have tripled their player numbers in the last few years and that growth means additional demand on training and game facilities,” Mr Last said.

“This funding means the club can continue to grow and keep doing what they do best.”

“This club has faced its fair share of challenges but has never lost sight of their commitment to provide opportunities for players of all ages in an inclusive, community-minded environment.”

“It’s the type of club that a good government supports because a good government recognises the value that clubs like the Seagulls provide to the community.”

Mr Last said Queenslanders could vote for upgrades at Denison Park and a government which worked for them, by voting LNP at this election.

“The LNP will restore a government that works for you, with the Right Plan for Queensland’s Future,” Mr Last said.

“Labor’s failures have overseen $20 billion-plus in project cost blowouts that could have instead delivered grassroots infrastructure upgrades for clubs like the Bowen Seagulls.”

“Queenslanders should have a government that delivers the programs and services needed for the State’s future, supporting our communities.”

“This state needs a fresh start, and only the LNP has the Right Plan for Queensland.”
